I personally suggest going to the doctor. They will be able to prescribe something that helps. And until then don’t sleep on your stomach..

I’m not a doctor, but you may want to consider taking something like Zantac a little while before going to bed.

My husband got rid of his by sleeping on a wedge pillow, or a double pillow, so that your head is elevated a little higher than your body. I would take an antacid before going to bed, such as Maalox or Mylantia. Or over-the-counter Zantac. Watch your diet and don’t consume spicy or fried foods or alcohol until you get it under control If it persists, make an appointment with your doctor, who can prescribe a stronger medication such as Prevacid or Prilosec.

Also, stay away from foods high in acidity like chocolate, coffee, and tomatoes. When I was pregnant, these types of food made my heartburn so bad I couldn’t even walk out to the mailbox without my bottle of Tums. My doctor prescribed me a acid reflux med and it did the trick. No more heartburn.
