What should I do about frequent heartburn?
Posted on October 18th, 2009 by Beth Goodwill under Q&AI’m only 16 years on but I get frequent heartburn. I can usually get it from drinking things like pop or cool-aid or by eating things like pizza or cheeseburgers. What should I do? Is there anyway to stop or prevent the heartburn?

I get heartburn easy whenever I add sugar to my diet. When I take it out I feel fine and no problem. That is why I only drink the drinks without sugar added in them. They can be frozen or in the drink aisle, but if you want to feel better go that way. And instead of candy I eat fresh fruit for my sweet tooth, and it’s better for you.

My sister has the same problem!!
Go to see your doctor and he can prescribe something that will suppress the acid reflux. Can’t remember the name of the stuff my sister uses but it definately helps her!

You can either seek OTC or prescription medication to deal with the production of too much stomach acid, or stop eating the foods or quantities which trigger it.
Common triggers include carbonated beverages, spicy foods, cinnamon, mint, fatty foods (the cheese on your pizza), and large meals or snacks. Being overweight is a contributing factor, too.
Many people keep a heartburn journal, jotting down what they most recently ate every time they have heartburn. In no time, they have a personalized avoidance list.

The answer is simple, but probably not what you want to hear…stop eating the crap that gives you the problem…pizzas and burgers are high fatty foods that stimulate excess acid secretion in the stomach…been there, had it, stopped eating it and now the problem is gone…if you can’t live without it, eat it in smaller amounts.

heartburn can be caused by the accumulated toxins in the body from the food we eat, the water we drink and even the air we breathe. a simple detox foot patch can help alleviate the symptoms of heartburn. i get my detox foot patches for free at http://peytonmedia.go2jump.org/SHL

I use to suffer from heartburn big time. Doctors and medication were a waste of time for me as all the prescribed drugs did, was suppress it for a while and it always came back. I was lucky how I stumbled upon my cure as my wife decided to begin taking Herbalife products, so I jumped on board. After a couple of weeks my heartburn was gone. I no longer take Herbalife products and haven’t done so for a few years now. The way I figure it, is that the cure is in some sort of natural type of foods. This could be different things for different people, so it is a matter of trying out various natural foods or medications. Good luck with it, but I do know it is cureable and then you can eat and drink what you want.
