With my first pregnancy I had heartburn from conception til delivery. It wound up turning into reflux toward the end and I had to sleep on the recliner so I wouldn't gag in my sleep. It can be annoying and feel really severe--if you are that concerned talk to your OB/GYN and they might have some remedies. But from my experience it's a normal part of pregnancy.
